At CIS we believe that training is more then just a lecture, it's a responsibility.  A responsibility that our instructors take very seriously.  When you attend one of our training courses, we guarantee that you will leave with the knowledge and confidence needed to apply your training in the real world.

Our training courses do include a combination of classroom lecture and demonstration, but we follow each presentation up with classroom exercises and special projects. 

Our Forensic Mapping courses include extensive field work and practical applications.  To ensure the success of our MapScenes students, we provide each student with an electronic workbook that makes refresher training a breeze.  Our workbooks are organized for easy navigation and contain links to help files and training videos.  In order to receive Forensic Mapping Technician certification from CIS each student is required to pass both a knowledge and skill test.
